South Burnaby Metro Club Soccer Program for 2010/2011 Season

  • Players 5 years old (U6) to 17 Years old (U18) can register today online at www.sbmc.net or in person on Thursday 22 April 2010 from 6 to 8pm at the south end of the Bonsor Rec Center for the 2010/2011 Soccer Season.  
  • Soccer Registration Fee includes a Soccer Uniform, Team and Player photo and our comprehensive Technical Skill Development Program for all players and coaches from U6 to U18 and Goalie Training for all interested U8 to U18 players. 
  • All players from U6 to U8 players receive a size 3 soccer ball with registration; Player will receive a soccer ball if they are registered online or in person before 28 May 2010 or while supplies last. 
     
  • All players from U9 to U11 may participate in our Spring development program if they are registered for the 2010/11 season; Players registered online or in person before 28 May 2010 may attend the Spring Development training sessions to be held on Saturday mornings starting 29 May until the end of June at Byrne Creek Secondary School.
  • All U11 players must attend tryouts to be placed on a Tier 1 or a Tier 2 team.  (Tier 1 teams play within the 4District League against teams from Richmond, Vancouver, North Shore and Burnaby.  Tier 2 teams play within Burnaby District against other Burnaby teams.)
  • All players from U12 to U18 must attend tryouts to be placed on a Gold or Silver level Team. South Burnaby Metro Club has the largest and most successful Divisional Soccer Program in Burnaby with 29 Teams from U12 to U18 playing at every calibre of play. As a result of our Technical Skill Development Program, many of our Divisional teams are successful in the District Cup, Coastal Cup and Provincial Cup.

  • Players attending tryouts can register online or they can register at the field at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each tryout time.
  • Players must be registered with SBMC to participate in the tryouts.
  • We will make every effort to contact all registered Divisional SBMC players by the end of May to inform them of their team placement for the 2010/11 season.
