FIFA Rules of the Game
Class 5 Referee's Course - (Two sessions are offered)
Session #1 Saturday, June 19/10 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the SBMC Clubhouse located on the south side of the Bonsor Recreation Complex
Session #2 Saturday, September 4/10 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm at the SBMC Clubhouse.
Cost is $60.00 per person - includes set of Flags; a Whistle; Red/YellowCards; and Rule Book
Assistant Referee's Clinic
September 10/10 from 6pm to 9pm at the SBMC Clubhouse - Cost is $10.00 per person

REFEREES
The South Burnaby Metro Club recruits, hires, train and certifies referees for both Mini and Divisional games. To become certified, on must be 12 years of age or older before one can take a Level 5 Referee clinic which are offered by the Club once or twice a year.
The course is run by a BCSA certified instructor, and participants take a standardized test at the end of the course. Everyone who passes is certified as a referee and is able to referee mini soccer games for SBMC and other soccer clubs.
